Pale Grey Dot will appear at Word on the Street, Canada’s largest literary festival:

Guess who attended the book launch of Y.M. Pang‘s anthology of dark fantasy short stories, All the Broken Blades, last Sunday. This guy!
On May 5th, 2024, the Aurora Award nominated Pale Grey Dot was released into the wilds, so I thought we’d take a quick glance at the year of successes.
I’m happy to report that Pale Grey Dot has been nominated for an Aurora Award in the category of Best Novel! This annual award handed out by the Canadian Science Fiction and Fantasy Association (CSFFA) for English-language Science Fiction and Fantasy Awards. Needless to say, this is a great honour, and my thanks go out to my editors (Adria Laycraft and Melissa Morrow), Jamis Paulson and Sharon Caseburg from Ravenstone Press, and my critique group from the Toronto Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers. All of them helped to make PGD the best it could be!
March 7th to 10th was the retreat of one Aurora Award winning author, Peter G. Reynolds, up in the Blue Mountains of Ontario, attended to by twelve incredible authors, all allegedly working on their individual projects. As for me? I was wrote REDACTED, which I can’t wait to share with you later in the year.
